+- **Opening the profile switcher / listing profiles is no longer slow when you have several profiles.** The profile list computed each profile's enabled/total skill counts by reading and parsing every `SKILL.md` on every request — with multiple profiles this added up to 100s+ of latency. The counts are now cached per profile and only recomputed when a cheap directory-mtime probe detects an actual change (a skill added, removed, edited, or `config.yaml` changed), with a periodic safety-net refresh. The probe walks the skill tree the same way the real scan does (following symlinked skills, pruning vendored dependency trees like `node_modules`/`.venv`), so the cached counts stay correct while the expensive re-parse is skipped.
