* docs: fail-closed optional chaining in Configure consumer example + old-Core regression
The documented consumer used ext?.settings.registerConfigure(...), which throws
TypeError on an older E0 Core where settings exists but registerConfigure does not.
Use full optional chaining (ext?.settings?.registerConfigure?.()) and add a Node
regression proving the consumer survives a Core lacking the capability.
