ROOT FIX (product bug): POST /api/settings never invalidated the session-list
cache, so toggling show_cli_sessions/show_cron_sessions could serve a stale
sidebar for up to the cache TTL when the settings-file mtime stamp collided with
a cached entry. The handler now clears the cache directly on those toggles. This
is also the root cause of the recurring test_gateway_sync CI flake (session
absent from /api/sessions right after the visibility toggle).
DEFENSE-IN-DEPTH: cleanup_test_sessions fixture now resets show_cli_sessions to
default BEFORE each test too, not only in teardown.
FLAKE FIX (test infra): bump 31 node-subprocess correctness-harness timeouts from
10s -> 30s across 23 test files. Node spawn + V8 warmup under parallel CI shard
load can exceed 10s, causing TimeoutExpired flakes (e.g. test_1325 on #4445).
Only real node subprocess.run() sites changed — mock signatures, HTTP urlopen,
and deliberate timeout-behavior tests (test_api_timeout, timeout=0/1/2) untouched.
When the model dropdown rebuilds (panel switch, provider refresh, or a
live-model fetch that times out and serves a fallback catalog), a
cross-provider selection could vanish from the refreshed catalog and the
browser would snap the <select> back to its first <option> (the default
model). _reconcileModelDropdownSelection now routes each selection branch
through an _applyOrEnsure helper that delegates to
_ensureModelOptionInDropdown, re-injecting the chosen model as a custom
option when it is missing from the rebuilt catalog instead of returning
null. Branch order and per-branch model/provider arguments are unchanged.
Maintainer note: simplified the contributor's helper to delegate straight
to _ensureModelOptionInDropdown (which already applies-first-then-injects),
removing a redundant double scan; re-pointed the
test_populate_model_dropdown_reconciles_selection_after_rebuild string
assertions to the new form (the behavioral node-driver tests for boot-default
precedence and in-page selection preservation are unchanged and still pass).

- Patch tests/test_issue2762_state_sync_profile_kwarg.py::_read_session
helper to query the real state.db schema (sessions.id PRIMARY KEY,
not sessions.session_id). Was always broken — the test never matched
any actual schema. Fix: SELECT id AS session_id + WHERE id = ?
- Patch tests/test_session_metadata_fast_path.py::test_failed_boot_model_catalog_prime_is_retryable
to accept both populateModelDropdown() and populateModelDropdown({preferProfileDefaultOnFreshBoot:true})
signatures (sibling-collision with #2726).
- Patch tests/test_model_default_boot_precedence.py::test_boot_model_dropdown_explicitly_requests_profile_default_precedence
to accept either the original allowBootSavedModelOverride variable
name OR the post-#2716-cherry-pick stateToApply equivalent
(!window._defaultModel?savedState:null gate).
- Stamp CHANGELOG for v0.51.130 (Release DB).
Cherry-picked via 3-way apply onto stage HEAD (post-Release-A/B/C1).
Resolved boot.js conflict: took PR's parameterized
populateModelDropdown({preferProfileDefaultOnFreshBoot:true}) call
(the whole point of #2726) on top of master's #2716 boot path.
