### Fixed
- **WebUI now honors `auxiliary.title_generation.enabled=false`.** When automatic title generation was disabled in config, the WebUI still auto-generated session titles via the auxiliary model (background title update, background refresh, and manual regeneration all ignored the setting). All three paths now respect the flag, matching the Hermes agent's canonical contract exactly (`is_truthy_value`, default on: a string enables only for `1`/`true`/`yes`/`on`, and an absent value stays on). Manual/explicit renames are unaffected. Thanks @X-Shihai. (#6877, #6814)
- **The "Auto-follow new content" setting now survives a settings-fetch failure.** If you turned auto-follow OFF, a transient failure to load settings at boot (server restart, slow network) used to silently reset it back ON for the whole session, causing post-turn scroll yanks until the next refresh. The resolved value is now mirrored into local storage on every authoritative settings resolve (boot, autosave, settings-panel load) and the boot-failure fallback reads that mirror instead of hardcoding ON — so an explicit OFF is honored even when the fetch fails. The mirror is only written from an explicit server value (never a synthesized default), and a fresh install still defaults to ON. Thanks @sand01chi. (#6856, #6819)
- **A cancelled turn can no longer overwrite the next turn's result.** When you stopped a streaming turn and immediately started another, a delayed finalizer from the cancelled worker could write its stale output back over the successor turn's already-persisted result, corrupting the session. The finalizer now fails closed unless it still holds current writeback ownership (checked under the session lock), so only the live turn's worker can persist. A companion memory leak is also fixed: Gateway-backed runs now release their writeback-ownership entry on teardown and pre-start cancellation instead of leaving one entry per session for the process lifetime. Thanks @webtecnica. (#6636, #6623)
